PM CC: Chapter 7

Here's chapter 7 completed.

Characters

Fun Gus: This is Fun Gus, one of the manager of StarLight Park. He and his brother devote themselves entirely to their creation. Something bugs me though, I mean look a the paint job, way too creepy.

Mime Mush: This silent guy is Mime Mush, the other owner of the park. Why does he keep moving his arms, I don't get it! Here's a little something my grandmother once said "Never trust the silent guy... or Fuzzies".

Shadow Mask: The Shadow Mask is a monster that was locked up within the Star Cog.
HP is 80, Attack is 5, Defense is 4.
The beast is incomplete, but still pretty strong. It can attack with its tentacles or throw his bones like boomerangs. Not creepy at all.

Story

(Just to set the theme of this Chapter)

Chapter 7

Once the silver Star Cog is installed, the mirror shows everyone the image of a Creepy Mansion, a Roller Coaster and a Ferris Wheel. Peach shouts with enthousiasm that the final location is StarLight Park. She begs Mario to let her come with them but he refuses since it's too dangerous.

Mario&Co leave for the sewers and search for a pipe leading to the park.

They arrive in front of the gate, the park which is supposed to be full of people seems kinda empty. At the entrance they are greeted by a Mime Toad who smiles as Mario approaches. He mimes Mario to wait in front of the gate and throw him an item : the Day Star.

YOU GOT A STAR COG!!!

He then mimes Mario to leave. The team is about to reach the pipe when the partner turns around and notices Peach and Luigi entering the park. Strangely, the mime at the entrance seems to scared and angsty. Peach turns around and waves at Mario. She is about the exit the park to drag Mario in when a barrier stops her.

A clown then appears and explain the park was attacked earlier and even though most of the visitors had fled, some of them remain inside. What's more, the park was cursed, people can enter it but cannot leave. Without any hesitation, Mario&Co enter.

Inside, there are still some Toads, Jellyfishes kids etc. The clown explains monsters have been wrecking havoc near the attractions but wouldn't approach the gate. The clown also introduce himself and the mime. They are Fun Gus and Mime Mush, the owners of the park.

Suddenly, the Star Cog flies out of Mario's pocket and hovers over the center of the plaza. The owners seem scared and leave. Suspicious, Mario&Co follows them. They split, the mime goes to the Roller Coaster while the clown goes to the Ferris Wheel.

In the Ferris Wheel area, the enemies are airborne. Mario can ride the Ferris Wheel and attack the monsters inside to get the "Engine Room Key". After that, he goes underground, in the engine room. After some exploration, they reach a room where Fungus is digging something up. He leaves without noticing Mario&Co but drops a "Card Key" on the floor.

In the Roller Coaster Area, the enemies are Goombas, Koopas and machines. Mario rides the Roller Coaster and is taken on a different path in the tunnel. They wind up in a unknown part of the attraction. The follow the path and end in a secret room where the mime is looking for something. He notices the group and run away, losing another "Card Key".

Once out of the attraction, they see the owners running to the Haunted Mansion. They follow them and are attacked by a Giant Boo. After the fight they explore the mansion (enemies are Boos and Undeads). In the basement, Mario finds a locked door and opens it. He arrives into the "Central Generator Room" where the brothers are typing things into a computer.

They notice Mario and sighed. They explain the park was cursed because of them. They tried to use the Star Cog as a source of clean energy but something went wrong and part of the monster locked inside escaped. It put the curse on the park for preventing anyone from escaping with the Star Cog so that it could regain its original shape. Fun Gus adds that putting the barrier up asked the monster a lot of energy but that he should be on his way to the Star Cog soon.

Suddenly, a siren rings and images appears on the monitor. A black mass is starting to move towards the plaza. Fun Gus states that only people who are linked to the Star Cogs can see and touch the "Spirit" as the "Body" is still imprisonned but that it can still harm anyone.

They rush to the plaza and find everyone minding his own business. Fun Gus and Mime Mush try to distract the civilians and begin to drag them away. Soon after, the monster appears.

BATTLE TIME

After the battle, the barrier is lifted, everyone leave the park and returns home. Mario&Co, Peach and Luigi go back to the castle hoping to finally restore the flow of time.

Interlude

You take control of Kammy on her broom, flying through the sky between Bowser's Lair and Peach's castle. You would have to avoid enemies and collected power-ups

Back in Peach's castle, Merlon witness the final chapter of the book.

"No...No...NO!!! Brighton and Twila sacrifices themselves but the Sun and Moon are still falling, the whole fabric of time is gonna collapse. Uh? What's this? A shadow is approaching the temple."

"It's horrible! Everyone's been killed! He gained unimaginable powers and is now calling himself the "Time Shifter", that traitor. Before dying, Lady Merlumina told me to use...my powers..."

"I've *pant* sealed away the Temple and its Master *pant* within the Eighth Star Cog *pant*. All of them have gathered *pant* the Time Dews have done their job. To whoever may read this *pant* I give you "The Celestial Clock". It'll prevent time from *pant* collapsing, until they have regained their strength. But warning *pant* if the seal was to be broken *pant* do not..."

"END OF ENTRY" Announced a robotic voice.

Merlon is transported back to the Clock Room, as Kammy arrives and Mario&Co enter the room.
